I absolutely loved the charming and traditional decor of this hotel. It really transported me back in time and made me feel like I was living in a beautiful French chateau. The general areas of the hotel, such as the dining room and lounge, were tastefully decorated and provided a cozy and inviting atmosphere. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be easily accessible, with wide corridors and well-placed handrails that made it easy for me to navigate around.
I would have appreciated a bit more assistance from the staff during my stay. As a senior traveler, it would have been nice to have someone readily available to help with any questions or concerns.

Lovely hosts and beautiful views of the valley from the chateau garden. Homemade breads, jams, and teas for breakfast were exceptional.
The room was very basic and cold, with no heating available. The bathroom and toilet were down the corridor.

The Chateau was a total hidden gem! The setting was mind-blowing, with gorgeous greenery all around. Our room was super spacious, with a fantastic ensuite wet room and a door that opened up to the stunning garden. Best of all, our Chihuahuas were welcome! The bed was incredibly comfortable, and even though the furnishings were sparse, it added to the chateau's character. Dinner in the charming dining room, complete with a cozy wood burner, was jaw-droppingly delicious. The vegetarian set menu featured ingredients straight from their garden. Our overnight stay was absolutely delightful, thanks to the gracious and enjoyable hosts. The rural location made it incredibly quiet, and the breakfast with homemade breads, jams, and teas was exceptional. My partner even got to do morning yoga. An overall super stay for a holiday getaway!
